Adelante Mujeres Forest Grove OR US $10,000 The chicas youth development program provides year-round, culturally specific services to address prevailing educational and racial disparities for latine youth throughout washington county. The program works in partnership with the hillsboro, forest grove, and beaverton school districts and is provided at 29 public school sites across washington county, with a focus on the crucial transition periods between middle and high school, and between high school and post-secondary pathways. It currently provides services to over 700 latine girls in grades 3-12 and in 12 universities for over 110+ college students.

Alaska airlines foundation will specifically support latinx youth in grades 8-post secondary schooling (ages 14-24) with college & career readiness activities that ensure long-term engagement (retention) in learning environments and thus life-long careers.
Adult Friends for Youth Honolulu HI US $10,000 The mec program through adult friends for youth will provide outreach to truant/chronically absent youth and connect them to an educational program. Funding from the alaska airlines foundation will be used for salaries, program supplies, telecommunication, mileage/gas, and vehicle maintenance.
