The National Trust for Historic Preservation works to protect America's diverse historic places and strengthen the livability of communities nationwide.

The Bartus Trew Providence Preservation Fund supports historic preservation at the local level on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. 

Funding is provided for the acquisition, maintenance, and preservation of historic landmarks and memorials.
