There are many nonprofits that are involved with Eastern religions, either in a capacity of promoting them, or working with them for charitable purposes. “Eastern Religions” covers a wide range of religious, cultural and philosophical trends - including, but not limited to, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Taosim, Confucianism and Jainism. Nonprofits involved in these spiritual spaces often rely on Eastern religion grants for fundings.

These grants can be put towards all kinds of initiatives. This can include preservation efforts of religious sites and texts, religious education campaigns, interfaith dialogue or support for religious diaspora populations.
