Vocational education, also known as career education or technical education, is instruction that focuses on teaching specific skills and trades. The purpose is to attempt to help train individuals for a particular and specific career path. These could be for a wide range of fields, such as healthcare, plumbing, carpentry, culinary arts, cosmetology - as many different vocations as you can think of.
