It is estimated that over 37,000 species are currently threatened with extinction - unique parts of the world that will never return if lost. These species may be threatened by habitat loss, climate change, poaching or pollution. There are many nonprofits who make it their mission to try to preserve which species can be saved, while there is still time. 

These nonprofits are only able to do their good work thanks to the generous donations provided by wildlife conservation grants. These grants can be put towards a wide range of purposes - including habitat preservation and restoration, species recovery programs, monitoring of endangered species and anti-poaching efforts.

There are a wide range of organizations involved in wildlife conservation that provide grants. Examples include the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the Disney Conservation Fund.
